With 2017 coming to a close, now is the perfect time to review your financial statements and implement strategies to reduce your tax liability when April rolls around.  Bernie Benyak, CPA with Stockman Kast Ryan & Company, will be sharing tips and best practices at our End-of-Year Tax Planning Strategies lunch and learn.  We hope you can join us.

Bernie Benyak, CPA

Bernard Michael Benyak was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and his MBA from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.  Bernie earned his Masters of Taxation (MST) from Northeastern University in Boston in 2013.

Bernie served four years in the US Marine Corps as a Russian Linguist and received his honorable discharge in 1986.  After the Corps, he went into hospitality management and spent eight years managing hotel properties throughout the United States.

Bernie passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in 1994, took his first position with a local CPA firm in November, 1994 and joined Stockman Kast Ryan & Company in December, 2000.  He passed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam in January, 2003.  Bernie recently earned the National Social Security Advisor (NSSA) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designations to better serve firm clients approaching retirement age.  Bernie’s expertise is working with individuals and small businesses in minimizing taxes and in achieving their financial retirement goals.
