Millions of individuals with special needs and their families count on a variety of public benefits for income, health care and assistance with food and housing. But until recently, those eligible were left facing a tough decision: either save for the future or qualify for benefits.
That changed when the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act was signed into law and new tax-advantaged savings accounts were finally available for families like yours and mine.
This new workshop covers the ins and outs of these new accounts. We’ll discuss who is eligible, who owns the account, who can contribute, what the contributions limits are, and more.
We know how crazy schedules can get, especially during the holidays, so this new workshop will be offered twice. Once on Tuesday, December 4 with a repeat on Thursday, December 6.
I hope you can join us!
Registration is required as seating is limited. Complimentary snacks will be served.
