An important part of retirement planning includes the discussion of long-term care insurance.

A majority of the population will need long-term care, and it will be costly. Some of us have already experienced this situation with family members.

We’ll cover the basics of this type of coverage at our next lunch and learn event. Aaron Eisenach, long-term care planning specialist, is returning to Colorado Springs to explain why this type of care is an essential part of any retirement plan and how it can provide financial protection and capital preservation.

Aaron R. Eisenach, CLTC, is a long-term care planning specialist in the Greater Denver region. He serves as Vice President, Western Region, of Krieger & Associates…an ICB Company, and is the owner of AaronEisenach.com.

His goal is to help families mitigate the emotional, physical and financial consequences of a long-term care event. His passion to help others stems from his father’s and grandfather’s battles with Alzheimer’s Disease and witnessing the lasting impacts on family and finances. He believes that everyone deserves a serious conversation about the potentially devastating emotional, physical and financial consequences a long-term care event can cause.

Aaron is the president of the LTC Forum of Colorado, Inc., a not-for-profit advocacy group that supports and encourages proactive long-term care planning. He was recently elected as Chairperson of the Producers Advisory Council of the Colorado Division of Insurance, and is certified by the state as an instructor to insurance agents for continuing education courses in long-term care insurance. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance, and is a former board member of the Metro Denver Association of Health Underwriters.
